Therapy that empowers you to discover your authentic self and navigate life's challenges with resilience and purpose.

You deserve a life that you are excited to be living.

Do you feel like you've lost touch with yourself or are struggling to cope with life's challenges? Perhaps you know that things need to change but you don’t even know where to start. If you're feeling lost and confused, I'm here to help. Together, we can create a safe and supportive space where you can explore yourself and work towards living a more fulfilling life. I want to help you build your confidence and find your north star, so that you can live more authentically. Whether you're dealing with burnout, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, or finding your sense of purpose, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

I believe that you are the expert of your own experience. Using EMDR, CBT, and ACT, I tailor evidence-based modalities to your unique needs. My approach is trauma-informed, sex and body-positive, and anti-racist. With mindfulness, existential conversations, and pattern disruption, we'll work together to help you achieve your goals in therapy.

Navigating personal challenges can be overwhelming. I've been there and I understand. We all face systems that impact us, and being a human in today’s world is tough. But I believe hope and change is possible. I admire your bravery and can help you find hope and purpose in the midst of the chaos. I have a special affinity for working with non-traditional paths, LGBTQ+ folks, those undergoing personal deconstruction, and anyone grappling with questions of identity and purpose.

Reach out to schedule a consultation to see if we might be a good fit to work together. I see clients on Mondays and Tuesdays at Inner Balance Counseling in Poncey-Highlands and on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Decatur Psychotherapy in downtown Decatur. I also offer sessions virtually Monday-Thursday for those residing anywhere in Georgia.

I maintain a number of sliding scale spaces at all times - please ask about availability if cost is a barrier to therapy for you. I cannot accept insurance, but I offer Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement requests.

This space is LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, body-positive, and anti-racist. In our work together, we will always consider the systems in which you exist and how those impact your experiences.

About Me

I understand the feeling of being anxious, stuck, unmotivated, lost, and uncertain about life. I've been on this journey myself and feel honored to meet my clients where they are on their journies. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in several industries, including service, design, wellness, and nonprofit. Although I have called Atlanta home for years, I'm originally from South Florida and have lived in Alaska, Colorado, Europe, and Australia.

Through my own personal struggles with mental health, anxiety, and perfectionism, I discovered the healing power of therapy and holistic approaches. I've also observed and studied how the systems we exist in, such as our communities, social structures, and institutions, impact us and our mental health profoundly. I believe that there is nothing wrong with you and that it’s amazing that you've taken this step towards changing your experience of life.

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia and have also completed additional training to offer EMDR, which is one of the most effective holistic therapeutic approaches backed by science. Currently, I'm pursuing full clinical licensure while working under supervision. When I'm not with clients, I enjoy yoga, nature, good food, and a binge of my favorite comfort shows with loved ones.

“We need to learn how to practice love such that care – for ourselves and others – is understood as political resistance and cultivating resilience.”
